For those who have not been here before, here is a quick sketch of my background: I began my college education many, many years ago in the field of mathematical computer science, then switched to social work. While that fact might raise some doubt about my ability to choose a career, it also helps to explain why it felt natural for me to combine not-for-profits with the Internet. My non-profit management experience spans beyond ten years and has involved organizations that serve a wide range of client populations. A significant portion of that time was spent as a traveling program planner, developer, and assessor. That position afforded opportunities to come into contact with a variety of professionals. This, and other such contact provided me with the best learning experiences of my career. This page is an attempt to create an even larger circle in which to learn.
